Continuing from the last post. Here is the ams landscape principal with a different material and generation:
The only thing needed is some fire trees, lava lakes and hot-sauce skeletons…
Movement trapping has been sorted.
Plus here is a nice lighting shot of early morning with a fire bowl on a plinth and some stairs to a raised area. Not sure what could be on the raised area, but it sure looks like it could be worth investigation.
The 3d objects can be textured or not, dynamically textured or mixtures. I’ll really have to look into how flexible it all is.
For fire, you can read any hot surface – lava, etc.
If we go near it then set OnFire to 100 every loop check for OnFire and decrease it and Health
Now when enter fire we are damaged, and we continue to be damaged for a short while after.
NOTE
Don’t check for fire or objects if we are floating…
